Haul - MAC! MAC! MAC!

Why is it that every time I go into a MAC store I drop around $200?? I have an addiction. I am addicted to MAC makeup (which I haven't quite figured out since I don't even wear that much makeup on a day to day basis) and to spending money apparently. Oh well, I still love it. Here's what I bought on my last trip:

• Lipstick in Fabby
• Dazzleglass Creme in My Favorite Pink

I am beyond happy with ALL of these purchases. Clearly I need to get on the same track with all my skin colorings haha, but I will definitely be repurchasing all of these items when they run low.

MAC - Going, Going, Gone

I recently got an email from MAC about products they are discontinuing. I'm not sure if they send this out regularly, or always do promotions for them, but I do know that they have a tendency to cancel some products/colors here and there. Thought I'd let you know in case you didn't already, or have any favs on the list you need to stock up on!

My newest addiction

I've recently discovered the online beauty world through blogs and YouTube videos. This is also a guilt-free indulgence because in this time of being on a budget in order to buy a home, I am still able to satisfy my MAC cravings by watching/hearing other girls spend, spend, spend. It's fabulous! They do these posts called 'hauls' where they write/show everything they just purchased in their last shopping trip. Ahh, to be able to live vicariously through perfect strangers. I heart the internet.

My favorite so far is lollipop26 because she is freikin adorable and has the best accent. She has so much MAC, Nars, Dior, etc that she sells her extras online, which I think is a great idea. And it makes me chuckle everytime. Other bloggers I follow right now are AllThatGlitters21 and TheYummyMummy.

Someday I'll be able to get myself back into the stores and physically shop. Right now, these girls are my support.

Black Eyeliner

I don't know about other girls out there, but I feel like I've tried out my fair share of black eyeliners. The regular pencil never lasts and ends up looking more gray than black. I suck at liquid liner and can never ever get it to look right. The kohl pencils are better but end up smudging all over the place if I even think about perspiring. My dilemma is that I love black eyeliner. I know I'm supposed to wear brown in the daytime, and it suits my skin tone better, blah blah blah. I like what I like.

So last time I was in MAC I started to explain my drama, but before I could finish, the girl whipped out what looked to be a mechanical pencil. She said it's simple to draw on, like a pencil, but it goes on smooth and stays put, like a liquid. I figured, what the hell, might as well give one more product a try.

Bottom line, I love it. I'm able to draw a thin smooth line on the first try and it stays put for hours. If you've had any of my same problems above, it's worth a try.
